"The Disaster Artist is a novel written by Greg Sestero (the actor who played Mark in "The Room") and Tom Bissell. The book describes incidents that happened while filming "The Room".

The book is about Sestro, who becomes intrigued by Tommy Wiseau, and how they become friends. After viewing "The Talented Mr. Ripley", he decides to show it to Wiseau. It inspires him to make a film of his own, and also started his obsession with the actor Matt Damon. He then starts shooting "The Room, and Sestro goes into detail about the various bizarre incidents.

Movie adaptation Edit

Seth Rogen's production company, Point Grey Pictures, stated they were going to make a film adaptation of the novel. It will be directed and star James Franco, who plays Tommy Wiseau. It also stars Franco's younger brother Dave Franco as Grego Sestero. The film is still in development.
